... to our new place here in Abu Dhabi! Well, after spending the last two months in a great hotel apartment, we are finally moving into our own place. I'm so excited to see my things that are being shipped here from the states. Some of which I haven't spent time with for 5 years! We most likely won't actually be in until around the 12th or so but I can almost smell the paint that will go up on the walls, in my chosen colors, I might add and then go crazy with the decorating. For some reason, none of the flats here have any appliances so those we need to buy. They are sort of 3/4 size and pretty cute. I don't know, can appliances be cute? Well, these are ;-) The place is in the area that we were hoping to be in. Close to the action in the city, close to the water/corniche, close to the Emirates Palace and the new Sheiks Palace. Guess what? We see it all outside our giant windows. Bob wanted a lovely view and we certainly have it. We did have to move to the 37th floor to have it though~~ and me who has a bit of a phobia about heights! But it's all good and very safe- even on our balcony. So to all you travelers out there who are just dying to come and see Abu Dhabi~~ we don't have a room for you but will have a very comfy sofa bed or something similar. We won't make you live the life of a Bedouin in a tent while you are here; we promise. Life is so sweet and I feel so lucky to be living this one. To all my sweet family and friends~ I love and miss each of you every single day. I hope you can all come and visit this incredible land with incredibly interesting people.
