Our ship is finally coming in...

...literally! Our things from the US are finally here and almost through customs. They should be unloaded in our new place tomorrow at 1pm. I can't tell you how happy I am about this long awaited day~~ yippee!!!! We are moving to a different part of the city. We have been on the east side and now moving to the west side. It's a very sweet area but I am really going to miss this side. At first I just saw the dirty parts and the craziness with all the traffic, construction, zillions of people. But now, I'm loving it! We have had many late nights wandering around the neighborhoods of typical Arabian shops, eating some of the goodies, having a haircut (Bob) and sometimes in awe or disgust at what we see . The pictures above kind of give a glimpse but unless you can see the sights, smells from the little cafes and eateries, feel the humidity, hear the music and see the people the full effect is a little lost. But at least you can see a little bit of the life around me. It really is a melting pot and I'm happy to be in it!
