Arabian Sea Swimming with...an Octopus!

Last evening we decided to go to the beach for a last swim before we return to the states. It was a little breezy but a beautiful 78! We got to the beautiful beach in Abu Dhabi and immediately went to the water and dove in...perfectly warm! This is something we are definitely going to miss being just 20 minutes from the beach and the water clear as glass and warm too. Well, the joy of the swim was interrupted as I heard Bob and another guy laughing about something that he was holding in the water. They asked me to come over and when I got there he had a live Octopus! Yikes! Right where I was swimming...well to say the least I was so out of there and ran to the safety of my beach towel. The guy brought it over and said he was going to clean and eat it for dinner, I told him I might also like to eat Octopus but not swim with them. Just one more adventure in the land of the Arabian's!
