Things as they REALLY are

So today I have a headache. This is not an unusual occurrence for me. So I decided to grab my computer and bring it back to my nice king size bed with me. When I get up in the morning, our place is very dark. These places all have very heavy dark curtains to help with the sun and the heat that can get upwards of 120 in the hot summer months. So I open all the curtains and look out on the city and like to see what is happening at the places around us. It's fascinating! The little store and fruit/vegetable stand are opening up and getting ready for the day. Kids are going off to school and some parents are going off to work. It's a BUSY place and because we are up high in the sky, they all look like busy little ants. We aren't THAT high but you get the drift, right??!! Anywho, back to the beginnings of my day. So I had brought my comput back to bed with me thinking that I would check my email and read an article or two and write a few things of my own. As I was doing so, I looked up and there in front of me was a man!!!! EeeeeKKKK! and I was in my bed (fully clothed I might add...hehe!) but in my jammies nevertheless. Well, the man was outside of my window looking in at me... or so I thought. He is the window washer! Holy Cow it scared me to death! I quickly got up and closed the curtains, but actually I'm not sure he can even see in. You see the glass here is such that I don't think you can see in. But if he did, he saw me with my crazy bed hair, my glazed over eyes (headache eyes I call them), my big nose~ that always looks bigger in the morning for some reason and my poor taste in jammies.
Upstairs on the roof is a lovely pool and work out room. I think I will go swim and take a crack at drowning my headache. I've decided that men-0-pause is for the birds or those who don't mind not sleeping, dealing with unmentionables, headaches or the like and heart palpitations. I would prefer not being one of those birds~~ can I be done already!!!???? That's life today in this beautiful blog of crazy :-)

Ha ha! Sorry I laughed out loud with the man cleaning your windows! That would be frightening! I get headaches too for that same reason, well sort of. It is the pits. Hang in there!

I second and third the hate of headaches, sorry Mom. How funny about the window washer, for a minute I was scared for you! Makes you wonder what else he's seen that he shouldn't, or doesn't want to. Could have been worse I guess right?! ;) Love you!!

Sorry Cyndi Lou! About two or three more years and you'll be through with the migraines and everything else. It will be one year that I have been in menopause. I REALLY FEEL YOUR PAIN. I hope you survived your scary encounter! Jeez! That is way scary. Was he good looking? hehehe!
