I have now been in the lower 48 for 3 weeks and the time has just flown by. I have been sleeping around. Hehehe! that's what I call going from one visiting house to the next but my adult children thought of the other meaning of this phrase. LOL! Oh well, I have been sleeping around at Holly and Ben's (+ 2 sweet kitties who keep guard over me at night!), Zac and Christie's to help with their move and hang out with my little buddy, Carter, Liza and Jose's to enjoy all the fun and laughs and late night chats (and see my very skinny Liza now have a little pooch...adorable!). It was so fun; I loved every night! My sweetie flew in about a week ago and we have been running ever since. We first went to Bellingham, Washington to pick up his truck from the Ferry coming from Alaska. We made our first stop at where else, Red Robin! My hubby is crazyyyyy about Red Robin and has missed their fatty burgers! He had more than a normal person can eat in one sitting of fries, burger and drinks... he was basically stuffed! I of course, had salad :-) hehehe! We then spent a few days with Liza and Jose so the papa could see his cute prego daughter, their new place and talk computers with Jose. Then off we sailed to Spokane to spend the next month with Jess, Brad and the boys. Their house is full of people and because we're old (er)! now we have been "sleeping around" in nice hotels and the last couple of days up in the mountains staying at J&B's condo. So, we are having some new adventures and love being able to take Gabe to soccer, play hide and seek with Max, Eli and Luke while Gabe was on the new rider mower mowing their huge yard, eating yummy tacos, chatting with Brad about politics(someone to banter with, yay!), chatting with Jess about anything and everything ... and the list goes on and on. I just love these grown up kids of ours and their incredible spouses and delightful children. Bob's next assignment is in Portland for 3 mos and we will be living downtown in an extended stay hotel... what a dream adventure! Life has such a way of turning something that we never thought possible into so many adventures that you can hardly believe that it is turning out this way. I am learning to go with the flow more and letting things work out the way that they are going to work out; which is extremely hard for me who likes to plan and organize. Oh wow!, gotta run~ the boys have a special school program tonight and I need to go for a swim... see what I mean??? Quite a life!
