Stones and shells from beach adventure today... I love a good treasure!

It has been so lovely today here in Sitka and the tide is very low so we were able to walk on the beaches which hasn't happened in the past 6 mos. that I have been here. The beach rocks were exactly what I want to make my future fireplace from. Beautiful gray, round stones--- I'm trying to figure out someway to load up the back of the truck and take them back with us to the states??!! Always thinking, always thinking... it's a blessing and a curse :-/
We love living by the sea and Sitka really is one of the loveliest places on earth. The people are so genuine and not a bit pretentious. Friendly and fun, makes for a great atmosphere! It's just another kind of paradise and I feel so lucky to enjoy it all!
