Oman

We had a lovely time in Oman. It was as beautiful and refreshing as I had remembered. We decided to drive from Abu instead of fly since we were headed to the south coast. I'm so glad we drove as we would have missed out on all the little middle eastern towns with amazing, interesting people from all walks of life. There are goats wandering around the streets at their leisure and on the cliffs; they like it there.  I LOVE mingling with these people; Bob~ not so much. That's where we differ, but that's okay. He loves to drive and take pics of landscapes. Me, I love the people and wandering about; a walk about. We went to the ocean which was the most beautiful blue green, we hiked the Wadi Shab where we ended up swimming into a cave. It was scary but I did it and we were probably the oldest souls amongst hundreds of Indians/Omani/Pakistani. We walked and hung out in the little towns. The pictures only capture a few moments of our 5 days but they are ones to never be forgotten. I really LOVE Oman and the people; I wonder if living there is in our future?? You never know.
