This is really a must see. It's a sweet stirring account of a young mothers recollection of her very harrowing experience and how she is coping with her new identity. I think we all struggle with our own beauty issues. We as women do so much comparing of each other; men don't do this~~ at least not like we do. As I have gotten older I am starting to realize that we all have a different journey and non of our journeys are the same. We are sent here to experience OUR adventures, OUR trials, OUR good days and OUR bad days, OUR triumphs and OUR bumps along the way. You might like to have thinner legs (like me), hair that is better and not going gray, a little less baby fat, bigger/smaller (you know!), more money, more children~~ we make life so~~ complicated-- it's exhausting! If only we could see ourselves as the Savior does, I know we wouldn't worry about comparing.
This video is long; but worth the watch.
"Men (women!) are that they might have joy"
So let's get out there and find some! Take a moment everyday to look around you and see the people in your life that love you and need you. Smell the lovely winter, spring, summer and fall air~~ and see the beauty in every single thing~~ count your blessings not your inadequacies.
"We're all called. If you're here breathing, you have a contribution to make."
You were created by a loving Heavenly Father; a gift to all of us who know you.
