Wag more, Bark less...

Oh my but this house is cute!
... yesterday I walked through the Hollywood district in Portland. It is a lovely neighborhood full of craftsman type houses with beautiful big trees that have been growing for at least a century. I had my walking shoes on so went at a fast clip ( my usual!). But just to take it all in and do two of my favorite things~~ walk-fast and look at houses of all shapes, sizes and styles. I have now walked through the Irvington district, Mississippi Ave district, St. John's district, Sullivan's Gulch district... all just right here in lovely Portland... and right by where we are living until January. I ride the train downtown to shop, eat and read and volunteer (soon!) at the Library! I have met up with friends, lots of family time and now... I think it's time to buy a new bike! The saying is from a bumper sticker that I saw on my walk. Good thought and I'm not even a dog lover :-) Hope that everyone is getting out there and just enjoying wherever you are~~ time is too precious to wish we were someplace else~~ leave your mark on the present.
