We went to the Rodeo!

We traveled to Spokane last weekend so that Bob could visit the dentist and get his new crown. Disappointingly, they called him on our drive up there and they didn't have it...oh my! He was VERY, VERY mad. He yelled on the phone. He almost had steam coming from his ears and nose. It was frightful. But he had taken the day off and then the drive up there and back adds up to over 10 hours of driving, so I could see his frustration. I was frustrated too. But he told them he was coming in so they could fix the temporary crown that had come out...arghhhhhhh! I think it was worth it. All the trouble. We spent a wonderful evening at the condo, swimming in the pool and watched a movie. It was nice! On Saturday, we went to the much anticipated Rodeo in Cheney, Washington. Bob rebelling against anything cowboy; wore his shorts, t-shirt and ball cap~~ much to the chagrin of his fully clad grandsons. Brad had taken his family of little cowboys and Jessi in her adorable new cowgirl boots (see picture!), a little early to secure the best of seats~~ front row! I had forgotten how much I LOVE the rodeo! The colorful outfits worn by the girls, the fastness of the riders as they roped small calfs or wove between barrels and even those brave souls riding those very mad bulls. I had boys on my lap for most of the show. Ate popcorn. Basked in the smells and watched all the crazy people~~ delightful! I'm looking forward to next year. Bob~~ anything to hang out with his grandsons!
