I am a collector, an organized pack rat, but a collector. I love to collect stuff. I have seashells from every where I go; they are so varied in color, free, created by God, and I especially love the exquisite white ones...oooolaaa! I also collect stones; round, colorful, small, mostly beach rocks also from everywhere. I even have one that my friend from Sebastopol brought back from Scotland-- thank you Harley! I collect thimbles and clocks too! Oh my! It's a way for me to recreate the memory of a place and enjoy that memory for a lifetime. All of my collecting stuff is packed away in storage for use for another day but... I wanted to show off my latest "find" here in the thrift store in Sitka. I just couldn't pass these up since they are so unique. They look like just porcelain vege's but they really have a duo purpose~~ they are measuring cups! So adorable! So to all of you fellow collectors~~ happy hunting for the unusual, the beautiful, and the cheap!
